Просьба относительно Спокойствия

Бог, предоставьте мне
спокойствие, чтобы принять вещи я не могу измениться;
храбрость, чтобы изменить вещи я могу;
и мудрость, чтобы знать различие.
Проживание в этот день,
Наслаждение этим моментом,
Навсегда и когда-либо. Аминь.

Peace Prayers in various traditions

Universal Prayer for Peace

Let the Spirit of Peace
Reach deep into the oceans
And high into the sky
Weaving this world into one harmonious whole
Bathing this planet in light and love
Blessing this Universe
With the Divine vibration of peace and harmony
So that the natural beauty within the land
Within the oceans, within the sky
And within the heart of each human being
Will be made visible, will be honoured
And will be a testimony to the sacred Source of Life
The Sacred Source of Life.

Words for Peace (in an atheistic way)

If we are kind to each other, it will be better for everyone.
If we are grateful for possibilities, we will be more satisfied. If we know ourselves better, we will value others more.
If we are in deep silence with our questions, we will become wiser. If we consider incomprehension with much love, we will understand more. If we stick to ourselves when things are not harmonious with us, we will stand stronger. If we enjoy everything that brings us joy, we can take (endure) more. If we feel compassion for those who insufficiently experience health, wisdom or safety, and if we thereto release inner power for transformation and for solutions regarding these situations, things will become clear.
The less we have on our shoulders, the more we can take if it is necessary. If we decide that a particular thing regarding a situation is not within our possibilities, we can present it to others that have more possibilities on this territory. In this way we realize: much more than we thought can be done. If we wish each other success in this matter, we are supportive of each other. In this way everyone can just be who (s)he is, and together we are strong.

Native African Prayer for Peace

Almighty God, the Great Thumb, we cannot evade to tie any knot:
The Roaring Thunder that splits mighty trees;
the all-seeing Lord up on high who sees even the footprints of an antelope on a rock mass here on earth.
You are the one who does not hesitate to respond to our call.
You are the cornerstone of peace.

Native African Prayer

For you are one who does not hesitate to respond to our call,
you are the cornerstone of peace.

Native American Prayer for Peace

O Great spirit of our Ancestors, I raise my pipe to you;
To your messengers in the four winds, and to Mother Earth who provides for your children.
Give us the wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect,

Let us learn to share all good things that you provide for us on this Earth.

Give us the wisdom to teach our children to love,

a dew upon the soil of the human heart,
and a fruit upon the tree of humility.

The Baháï Prayer for Peace

Be generous in prosperity and thankful in adversity.
Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech.
Be a lamp unto those who walk in darkness, and a home to the stranger.

and a fruit upon the tree of humility.

May all beings everywhere plagued with sufferings of body and mind quickly be freed from their illnesses.
May those frightened cease to be afraid, and may those bound be free.

be guarded by beneficent celestials, and may they quickly attain Buddhahood.

quickly be freed from their illnesses.
May all beings swiftly attain Buddhahood.

Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be known as the Children of God.
But I say to you that hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
To those who strike you on the cheek offer the other also,
and from those who take away your cloak, do not withhold your coat as well.
Give to everyone who begs from you, and of those who take away your goods, do not ask them again.
And as you wish that others would to do you, do so to them.

Jainist Prayer for Peace

Peace and Universal Love is the essence of the Gospel preached by all the Enlightened Ones.
The Lord has preached that equanimity is the Dharma.
Forgive do I, creatures all, and let all creatures forgive me.
Unto all have I amity, and unto none enmity.
Know that violence is the root cause of all miseries in the world.
Violence in fact, is the knot of bondage.
“Do not injure any living being.”
This is the eternal, perennial, and unalterable way of spiritual life.
A weapon, howsoever powerful it may be, can always be superseded by a superior one;
but no weapon can, however, be superior to non-violence and love.

Jainist Prayer

Peace and universal love is the essence of all the Gospels.
Forgive do I creatures all, and let all creatures forgive me.

Jewish Prayer for Peace

Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that we may walk the paths of the most high.
And we shall beat our swords into ploughshares, and our spears into pruning hooks.
Nations shall not lift up sword against nation - neither shall they learn war any more.
And none shall be afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken.

Jewish Prayer

Oh come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that we may walk the paths of the Most High.
And we will beat our swords into ploughshares and our spears into pruning hooks.

Muslim Prayer for Peace

In the name of Allah the beneficent, the merciful.
Praise be to the Lord of the Universe, who has created us and made us into tribes and nations,
that we may know each other, not that we may despise each other.
If the enemy incline towards peace, do thou also incline towards peace, and trust God,
for the Lord is the one that heareth and knoweth all things.
And the servants of God, most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in Humility,
and when we address them, we say “PEACE”.

Muslim Prayer

Praise be to the Lord of the Universe,
who has created us and made us into tribes and nations
that we may know each other,
not despise each other.

Quaker's Testimony for Peace

We will struggle to remove the causes of impasse and confrontation by every means of nonviolent resistance available. We testify for the world, that the spirit of Christ, by which we are guided, is not changeable, so as once to command us from a thing as evil and again to move unto it; and we do certainly know, and so testify to the world, that the spirit of Christ, which leads us into all Truth, will never move us to fight and war against any man with outward weapons, neither for the kingdom of Christ, nor for the kingdoms of this world.

Shinto Prayer for Peace

Although the people living across the ocean surrounding us, I believe,
are all our brothers and sisters, why are there constant troubles in this world?
Why do winds and waves rise in the ocean surrounding us?
I only earnestly wish that the wind will soon puff away all the clouds which are hanging over the tops of the mountains.

Shinto Prayer

We earnestly wish that the wind will soon puff away
all the clouds hanging over the tops of the mountains.

Sikh prayer for Peace

God adjudges us according to our deeds, not the clothes that we wear;
That truth is above everything, but higher still is truthful living.
Know that we attain God when we love,
and only that victory endures in consequences of which no one is defeated.

Sikh Prayer

Know that we attain God when we love,
and only that victory endures in consequence
of which no one is defeated.

The peace power of Silent Unity

All creation is responding to God’s message of peace.
Thought by thought, prayer by prayer, we are creating a new vision for the future:
one in which we are united in a spirit of love and joy and renewed hope for all humankind.
How privileged we are to be living now in this world,
and to discover the wonder of God in our world and in each of us.
Inner peace and the poise that is a result of it encourage me to meet every situation with calm serenity.
Through the inspiration of God’s loving presence, I have the inner resolve to accomplish my goals.
With God as my partner, I’ll find the wisdom I need for daily life.
The peace, poise and power of God inspire me to accomplish my dreams. (to God:)
“God, I hear your voice of peace throughout Your diverse and magnificent creation.
It is the echo of peace that resounds as the wind gently sways the pinetrees,
as waves rush onto shore, as conversations sparkle with hope.
I pray that all of us here on earth will hear Your message of peace.
Also let the love and understanding needed for peace be constantly in our minds and hearts.
So be it.”

Sufi Prayer for Peace

Send Thy Peace, O Lord, which is perfect and everlasting, that our souls may radiate peace.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, that we may think, speak and act harmoniously.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, that we may be contented and thankful for Thy bountiful gifts.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, that amidst our worldly strife we may enjoy Thy Bliss.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, that we may endure all, tolerate all in the thought of Thy grace and mercy.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, that our lives may become a divine vision and in Thy Light all darkness may vanish.
Send Thy Peace, O Lord, our Father and Mother, that we, Thy children on earth,
may all unite in one Brother-(and-Sister-)hood. AMEN.

that truth triumph over falsehood.

We pray to God that understanding will triumph over ignorance,
that generosity will triumph over indifference,
that trust will triumph over contempt, and
that truth will triumph over falsehood.
